what is the ‘sacred cut’ in forward thinking?
is forward thinking’s existence
dependent upon high contrast to be known?
is this when the mundane gets dressed up?
or does memory or the lack of it,
offer a frame in playing a supporting cast role?
who is the one who notices it?
maybe it is only their perception owned.
forward thinking may not know of itself.
maybe it remains dormant,
in its mind of origin,
left unsaid,
table scraps of the babbling.
forward thinking maybe a situational insult
to any or every one else close at hand.
forward thinking may have a life of its own
until it enters into ‘construct tag’ with others.
so if I tell you,
then you are it by thinking of it.
not that you wear that so well,
but still you have been tagged
however you claim yourself otherwise.
you can deny all you want
but even by the hidden agenda of protest,
you are it.
you can mute the game
or tag someone else.
it is either a game of wildfire
or a sit on your face and stew.
generally, no one admits
to the sacred cut anyhow.
so why should it be you?
