across the floor of shared awareness
frame by frame.
we may have cause to think
that we are mapping a common area
but the feel for the land
comes from separate palates
through each of us
as passion from vision,
two brushstrokes expressing a canvass worth
layer upon layer.
the stills articulated
become the movie forward
as if in a common flip-book animation.
we are the acts-out
of fluid permission
where we rain,
nurtures life all around us . . .
