Did time mention you? 8/31/16

Someone suggested
that I should meditate,
for fifteen minutes a day.
And so I sat down
in front of the clock
and started to meditate.
And eventually the clock face disappeared.
When I returned,
the face was sort of different.
It looked unfamiliar.
I didn’t recognize it.
I asked, do I know you?
Have we met before?
You seem somewhat familiar
but I can’t place you.
The clock face did not take it personally
and continued to monitor my meditative state
until time ran out . . .

Where truth lies 8/29/16

We can never know the truth.
The truth, in our mind, is a billboard.
The truth, in our life, is a hologram.
Language, at best in speaking the truth,
is nothing more than a swizzle stick
reporting the stir that comes to mind.
The only thing that we are getting
from the spoken truth is an agreement
towards a superficiality of trust as investment
and a showiness of intimacy as sensitivity.
If you are trusting in another person,
it is of your own volition in the making.
That you would create a contract of trust
is to imprison another person
on behalf of your expectations and view.
If you sincerely trust in another person
then you have taken up an empathetic
compassionate perspective,
and you are feeling and participating
from a sense of truth as oneness
is where truth lies.

the con of consciousness, 4 pillars thereof 8/28/16

consciousness, in the way we do it,
is really like side-glances for roadside service.
sure we all drive the highways of meaningful
elaborately looking for that curbside appeal.
we seem to be in the collective,
fairly addicted to a ‘here-to-there’ momentum.
we think as if topic will provide us with answers
and those answers will keep us ceremoniously grooved
in a sensory blur of presentable dismay,
but questioned questioning defends itself with answers
yet curiosity should never be the capture of judgment.

sidebar to the obviousness of gross entrepreneurship,
as a medium, has become syntactical
as it means of imploring our attention to capitalistic frames.
it seems that the essence-driver of all our responses
is somehow now source-fully camouflaged
yet personally and privately self-ventilative.
and the decode has no native language of origin available.

for us, standing there facing forward, what is lucidly real
is where feel is first, foremost and forever
without the handrail of logic,
where time is always seen as indifferently grinning,
where problematic can always seem to be seen
as a three-card-monte rues
as if understanding is somehow dependent upon
the ladle size we can sip from and still swoop,
and where privilege is always based upon
a nest of assumptions that one cannot readily identify
or be surefooted sane in essentially defining.

for privilege is, of itself, an indulged positionalty
yet we are all each basically of the template of wellbeing,
woven together over this with need and by circumstance,
functioning in the catch-all sieve of forward living
yet consciousness, passing through us, is us as ongoing . . .

Consensus 8/27/16

Consensus is not some thing that can be bundled
as if like hay and then stacked
as if freeze-framed, waiting for delivery.
Consensus is not something
that a media can post either
as if with meaningful leverage,
say as if from hangings as is dramatized in movies
about the distant damned past.
Consensus does not thrive but eventually dies
in the land of conclusions,
as if like the fragrance from freshly baked pies
does over time.
Consensus is the living wonderment of movement
in commitment of people in these
their communing of thoughts,
presented by a hum of presence
more than just verbiage.
Consensus creates the friction
that sounds intention into action and movements.
Consensus is this constancy of a thought form meal,
being served where there are no crusts and no utensils,
just face feed and mind buzzing’s statements.
Consensus feasts on the next moment’s opportunity
yet there is no celebration
but there is the invisible strength of shared intention,
moving sightless mountains out of the way.
Consensus is strength in numbers by cooperation expressed.
Consensus is one dance
realizing the rhythm of cause in action.
Consensus, ants know it, bees know it,
migrations do it,
and oceans express it constantly.
Finally, in the most intimate of palate means,
consensus finds wings, shares flight,
and honors towards the sky-fill of destiny
to breath in the oneness of it all in passage.
