Silence cradling the tsunami
forming into a forthcoming gush,
then into a rush of a smile,
that upsurge of chatter
advancing as sound waves of clamor,
the pallet upon which you so solidly stand,
becoming too much with the liquid,
and not enough lift with the you as the brush,
smeared on to an unchosen canvass, a
nd hard pressed in that passing,
a bottleneck of circumstance further progressing,
you ask, float versus grasp,
you notice, what bobs, what sinks,
when does the harbor of solid ground arrive,
this is animation without a landing,
but silence, omnipresent silence,
is present before,
during and after this flush.
