steeped in ooziness * 12/7/13

Gathering close together
to read the palm of the night sky,
we lay physically touching,
while studying the mounts on each cloud,
taking in impressions
of each cloud’s watercolor blush,
feeling for each cloud’s color of light
upon our common auric field.
This allows and encourages spaciousness
to bind us all as one.
We are collectively laying out our labyrinth
into the streaming sky,
being buffed and brushed by clouds
along their migratory route.
We are finding delicious sorts of air bakery
with every wind-chill and sigh.
Opening to wide swallows
of spacious dusk night sky
and sensitively licking whole lengths
of their slow undulating flow,
quenching and being quenched
in almost motionless ways.
We remain in still-oneness
until the earthrise
has stampeded all the blush away.
Here then , we are wrestling on
with this smoldering stillness
until memories’ faint kiss
strips away our separate minds.
We are communing into one body heat.
Letting ourselves show our improbable needs.
Steeped in ooziness,
we are taking everyone
to where we are the ocean
upon which we all float . . .
