There is only one truth

There is only one truth.

But it is not in the mind,

but of it.

That the mind

on behalf of the brain

is beholding to content,

only provides answers.

That the brain functions

ever more beyond answers,

gives glimpses

of the one truth.

We ask of our minds

to provide consciousness,

to be experiential pimps.

And, it does so

both sadly and gladly.

You can link a drink to water,

but do we need to be

the horses of experience

to make it so absorbing?

One truth is beyond evidence,

beyond documentation,

beyond confirmation

other than living it alive.

We live the life of kite tails

vast in the sky above,

never knowing

the cause of breeze

or the nature of the expanse

we deny by only flying in it . . .
