Understanding

Understanding is like life

at the petting zoo,

In a controlled environment

with false expectations

which are usually duly meet.

These animals as if topics

of reputation

are symbolically engaged.

There is an assumed respect

of attention given

as gained and shared,

namely, events occurred

worthy of later recognition.

Everything seems to be in order.

A secured storyline

is, in dialogue, maintained.

Curiosity has found its answer

from the menu.

Agendas of pretension

have modeled reinforcement.

More information

of a retentive mind nature

can be provided to suffice

possible further interest.

For a nominal fee

everyone can leave said topic

with a sense of glee

and a knowledge

of personal self-approval

for what each has been through.

The experience has been richly so

and a delight.

Everyone came away

with only minor variations

in a subjective manner.

They all basically,

by the nature of understanding,

agreed to agree.

A Newtonian world does exist

and we are all at home within it.

Therefore as a

mentally equivalent world

is a construction,

it is more relevant

than a real universe before us.

Such is the containment

of the referential world

of understanding applied.

We are somewhere within it

and custodial about it,

and we have presumptive baggage

already hidden away

in the mind to move

if we are,

by the method of understanding,

to get to someplace else . . .
