Hands into a mirror

She made her hands,

placed together,

into a mirror.

When they touched,

the history of her skin script

was revealed,

as these were the hands

comforting tears with sincerity

and conveyances of touch.

These accomplices,

brought together

to make a mirror . . .

now reflecting.

So much attention

given as care . . .

The harriers of directed deeds,

now passive in reflecting

a deeper sense of grief.

Once motherless

of outer dialogue

and discernible needs,

now death defining

an obvious soulful ovation,

asking for an inner handrail

of energy dialogue

as guidance.

Temporality

is not the easy provider.

Contemplation is more

the means of stillness,

settling in layers,

setting up a syntax

of the solitude within

as a richness without certainty.

Yet her hands

attempt coupled quiet

towards reflection

as this mirror rises

to observe and provide

an inner glow . . .

Lower pulse has a way

with time.

It is neither a mudra

of prayer

nor the restfulness

of weary hands

but these are

diligent sentinels

of a deeper journey within.

These hands placed together

are the subtle

body form initiate

for the mirroring

to become a constancy,

an accompaniment

for the procession of breath . . .

the passivity of vision . . .

the synaptic expansion

of receptive mind.

Here are the hands of a drone

but without tension of reason.

These hands . . . now taken

to a different refrain;

'passive as presence is radiance'.

These hands

as the guardian escort

to bare witness,

these . . . hands

into a mirror . . .
