Thinking’s thought process

With the very means

by which we try to solve our problems

then becomes the problem.

The source of our problems

is within the structure of thought itself.

It becomes unavoidably necessary

to look at the structure of thought

as a kind of knowledge to explore.

The nature of the ‘aha’ as the insight,

for example.

How abstract knowledge is stored

as memory knowledge goes further

than just storage itself.

Then there's tacit knowledge

that is . . . without words.

Another part of knowledge is belief

as beliefs are inferred from within

and referential to our causes.

Even our basis of presuppositions,

our whole approach to life

is filled

with inadmissible presuppositions.

They affect everything

about actions, thoughts, feelings,

urges, desires, motivations.

These as presuppositions

have an unconsciousness

yet have a pervasive effect

upon the whole of our being.

Information takes hold over us.

Thought creates the impressions.

We are servants to the cause

by just doing what we want to do.

This is ours alone

and our inherent difficulty.

Our knowledge as it actually exists

is an unidentified undivided whole.

In a way of intake, we have relationship

in a subject/object way with everything.

It's our attempt at flowing movement

as an ongoing process

as any moment’s knowledge is a mixture

of current and past in application.

Often you cannot tell the difference.

Every reaction to thought

is simultaneously emotional, physical,

psychic, intuitive, spiritual (non-religious).

Memory is something you never see

for movement in the mind

is far too subtle

for thought to grasp thought.

We are caught in responding,

not knowing what is actually happening.

Our perceptions are shaped

and colored by memory.

We are linked and limited

to what fits the overall context

and still challenge arises.

This implies a looking into the essence.

To somehow study

a mind that is engaged

in the act of knowing.

This new perception of subjectivity

then permits new forms.

Maybe this implies that knowledge

knows also its purpose and limitations.

If we are able to see

the limitations of thought

where the mind cannot go

beyond its habits

say, without passion

as a flash of perception

for there is no discovery

that perceives the subtly

and yet powerful forces

behind the residence of knowledge.

We are reluctant

to give up on fixed beliefs

defended by reason.

When we sometimes vacantly

give rise to new ideas,

knowledge must yield

to fresh perceptions.

Our methods of recognition

makes us slaves to the past.

We are caught

in the some sort of absurdities.

Knowledge is largely in the dark

about itself.

Before one can think reflectively

the mind will defend for itself

yet can the mind can actually see

what it's doing?

Is this insight universally available?

If so, insight can dissolve

the mind's blind attachment.

It may take place in a flash,

yet its essence as process

cannot be captured in thought.

The action of insight is immediate

but there is no end

to that which mindfully presents

to us

as possibilities!
