No event in the now
There is no event
to the now.
We, as humans
have no original equipment
to note
or capture
or store
towards the construction
of an event.
Every thing we use
to make an event seem so
either by comprehension
composition, perception,
interpretation and or
accountability
are all secondary attributes
either as skills or techniques
that we have learned
or been taught.
Experience becomes
as a series of results
complexly strung together
under the entitlement
called an event.
It is an abstraction
or extrapolation
of a series from now
given a framing model
called an event.
Our participation in now
is before we implore
the staging skills
and impressions
that make up our account
eventfully of a now.
We mostly abandon
our participation in the now
for our consequential experience
of the now.
We spend ourselves
dedicated to receivership
and sensory input from the now
and not so much attention
on the self as broadcast
into the now.
We are the passive singers
that fill the now with hum
but the lyrics
are muted or unknown
and the melody
is somewhat unfamiliar
to our collective souls.
Permission to be in the now
is uneventfully available
but we are profoundly
and eventfully driven
to passively perceive.
